Insurance Information:
- At the Apex Moving Company we work hard to avoid any damages to your property. However, the occasional mishap does occur. Accordingly, you have several options to cover any losses or damage which might occur during your move.
- Basic Liability: At no cost to yourself, industry standard basic liability coverage is provided with your move. This coverage is set by DOT regulations and for moves within the state of Texas it is set at 60 cents per pound per article. This amount typically covers costs for repair of damaged items, but does not replace them. Some items may not have sufficient coverage under this option. We recommend that additional insurance be purchased to cover very valuable or delicate items.
- Home Owners Insurance: Your home owners insurance policy may also provide some coverage for your move. Please check with your insurance agent to determine what coverage you might already have.
- Full Replacement Value Insurance: You may wish to purchase full replacement value insurance to cover any loss and/or damage to your goods. The Apex Moving Company is a approved Dallas mover by the Baker International Insurance Company. You may purchase full replacement insurance from Baker International by calling (800) 356-0099 or through their website and using mover ID# 16695. Please note that if you use this mover ID and move with another carrier, your policy will not be valid.
